Loved the shared kitchen, I felt like a contestant on a cooking show. The lounge was cozy, perfect for pretending I have friends. And the tours were amazing, I can now brag about my adventurous spirit.
Oh, the pleasure of freezing in my room and competing for a seat in the kitchen, such exquisite experiences.

Located within walking distance of popular attractions and markets. Clean, cozy rooms with comfortable bedding. The owners are incredibly kind and make you feel at home. They even allowed us to store our bags before heading out to explore.
The kitchen was small and lacking equipment, making it difficult to cook with limited space. there was no designated area to hang wet clothes, causing inconvenience.

The hostel had everything I needed: a shared kitchen for burning my toast, a shared lounge for awkward encounters, and tours to remind me how terrible my sense of direction is.
The bed was so comfortable, it felt like sleeping on a cloud. How am I ever going to adjust to a normal mattress now?

The value for money at this hostel was excellent and the room was comfortable with cozy beds. The location was convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby, and the staff treated me like family, providing helpful information and assistance throughout my stay.
Breakfast items could have been improved, possibly by offering a wider variety of choices.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Dan Pedro market and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The facilities were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The hostel is family-owned and the owners make you feel like part of their family, providing invaluable assistance and knowledge about tours and trekking routes. They even allowed me to store my bags before and after my trek. Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel was perfect for me as it was in a non-touristy area. I enjoyed being able to experience the local culture and there was even a festival happening nearby which added to the overall experience. The proximity of the train station was also a big bonus as it made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding areas. the staff at the hotel were really friendly and accommodating, allowing me to leave my bags before heading out to explore.
The kitchen at the hotel was quite small and sometimes it was difficult to cook. It was also not always clean, which was a bit off-putting.

I had an amazing stay at Chelitos Backpacker! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the market and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hostel itself was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated the separate toilets and bathrooms for men and women. The family who owns the hostel was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. They were always available to help with any questions or concerns I had. I especially loved how they helped me plan my trek from Choquequirao to Machu Picchu, providing detailed information about buses and prices. They even let me store my luggage while I was on the trek. my experience at Chelitos Backpacker was superb and I can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing experience at this hostel. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the market and other shops and restaurants. The facilities were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The family that runs the hostel made us feel like part of their family, offering assistance whenever we needed it. Despite a small language barrier, they were warm and knowledgeable. They even helped us map out our trek from Choquequirao to Machu Picchu. The hostel allowed us to store our bags and accommodated our early check-in and late check-out. I would highly recommend this hostel for a great experience in Cusco.
